LecTec Corporation Achieves ISO 9001 and EN46001 Certification
MINNETONKA, MINN. (Feb. 18) BUSINESS WIRE -Feb. 18, 1999--LecTec Corporation (Nasdaq National Market: LECT), a Minneapolis-based health care and consumer products firm, announced today that the Company has been certified as meeting the requirements of ISO 9001 and EN46001 quality systems standards. Formal certification became effective January 14, 1999, and was granted by TUV Product Service GmbH, a world-renowned, accredited certification body for quality systems.

For medical devices, EN46001 is awarded only to those companies which satisfy the rigorous standards of ISO 9001 and comply with the European Union's Medical Device Directive.
