Magnetic Proximity Sensors

This line of magnetically operated reed proximity sensors can be supplied in standard PC board mount and stand-alone packages with virtually any type of connector, or can be totally engineered to customer specification. The sensors are offered in three standard types: cylindrical for use as positioners and limit switches, screw-mount types and PCB mount styles as thru-hole and surface mount devices for a variety of applications. Featuring low loss ferromagnetic reed blades and hermetically sealed contacts, standard and custom configurations can be supplied with connectors to meet customer packaging requirements.

The sensors are suitable for applications where it is necessary to detect movement but desirable to use devices that do not require external power. They are available in sensitivities ranging from 5 to 30 AT, switching voltages from 30 to 2500 VDC, and 1 to 100 W/VA switching power, depending upon type. Operating times and other specifications may vary.
