Mahaffy & Harder not only designs and produces packaging machinery for manufacture of conventional package styles, but we also excel in engineering system solutions for more difficult objectives, using over 40 years of experience. All of our equipment is supported by a National Parts and Service Organization with in-house Engineering back-up just a phone call away.

Our equipment is used to produce a variety of package types using diverse packaging materials, including pre-formed containers, for a wide range of products that includes fresh and processed meat, convenience foods, health care products, consumer goods and others.

All Mahaffy & Harder Sureflow® Machines use the unique and patented Sureflow® Method for producing the vacuum in the package. During the evacuation, a positive three-dimensional opening is created for the escape of oxygen-containing air, resulting in fast, accurate, and complete evacuation.

Our expanding series of Sureflow® Packaging Machinery designed and built at our Fairfield, New Jersey manufacturing facility includes the following:

• The highest speed die train vacuum packaging machinery in the world. (Sureflow® Model 700 Series)
• Our newest series of medium and high speed servo driven horizontal, thermoform fill and seal packaging machinery. (Sureflow® Model 800 Series & Sureflow® Model 8000 Series)
• A series of unique high speed continuous motion packaging machinery. (Sureflow® Model 300 Series)
• Our brand new SSTS high speed pre-formed tray sealing machinery for modified atmosphere and ambient packages.

All of the above are capable of using a wide variety of diverse packaging materials.

Mahaffy & Harder's unique technology enables our packaging machinery to produce high quality vacuum, modified atmosphere (MAP) and ambient packages at rates greater than any other equipment in its class.
