Master Bond Inc. proudly announces the commercialization of the first one component epoxy resin system which fully meets USP Class Vl requirements! This "no-mix" system is called Master Bond EP3HT Medical and is resistant to repeated sterilization. It has an unlimited working life at room temperature and cures quickly at elevated temperatures. Typical cure cycles are 20-30 minutes at 220°F with shorter cure times at higher temperatures (e.g. 5-10 minutes at 300°F). Its medium viscosity makes it easy to apply. EP3HT Medical contains no solvents and emits no vapors or volatiles during cure.

Master Bond EP3HT Medical offers many additional advantages over many other conventional medical grade epoxies. It is extremely durable, has excellent adhesion to many substrates and optimizes productivity. It is serviceable up to +400°F and has superior dimensional stability. Resistance to ETO, gamma radiation, autoclaving and recently developed "cold" sterilants is excellent. EP3HT Medical does not require refrigeration.
