With over 50 years of metal coatings experience, ME-92 Operations came into being in 1992 with the first medically accepted chromium coating for medical use. ME-92 Operations commitment to the future began with the recognized need for a versatile, durable, protective, biocompatible coating which would enhance the performance of stainless steel medical instrumentation and equipment.

Assembling a highly specialized team of accomplished professionals, the founders of ME-92 Operations set out to answer this need, and in 1992 developed a unique, innovative and proprietary chromium coating technology, known as the ME-92® Coating. As a result of this technological advantage, combined with a commitment to serving customers needs, ME-92® has become the preferred coating of leading medical companies serving all major medical disciplines. Continually scanning new horizons through research and development in leading edge technologies, ME-92 Operations recently introduced another biomedical first called ME-92NRTM Coating.
