The 4E98 single-component epoxy for medical devices provides a quick, low-temperature cure. The adhesive is suited for bonding heat-sensitive substrates. The epoxy adhesive cures within 5 to 60 minutes, at temperatures ranging from 120°C to 80°C. Other cure schedules may be possible. This product provides structural strength in bonding needles, scalpels and other metallic surgical instruments. It also can be used for potting and sealing and in the construction of filters and catheters.
