The Two-Station Medical Heat Sealing Machine, Models 2SM1216 and 2SM1428, is configured with two manually operated shuttle beds. They are alternately positioned beneath a heating platen, which seals pre-nested lids and medical trays to form a sealed package. During normal operation, products in one shuttle bed are sealed as the other is unloaded and reloaded. Two machine operators can feed, fill, seal and offload sealed medical trays at the rate of 2,000 to 6,000 packages in an eight-hour shift.

- Hinged Lexan service door to access heater plate
