Medical Tray Sealer

The Synergy II Medical Tray Sealer from EMD Products features polished 304 stainless steel construction and is equipped with process controls and alarms that assure packages are manufactured in conformance to specified operating limits. With installed validation ports, users conduct process assessment. Calibrated instrumentation includes contact dwell timer, temperature controller, thermocouple and pressure transducers and gauges. With the free standing one or two station shuttle machine medical packagers are offered a choice of seal sizes: 12 x16-in. or 14 x 28-in., with package depths to 8-in.

The sealer offers ergonomic design, full safety package, and centralized controls. With the shuttle operation, medical tray packagers can produce up to 5000 trays per shift with one operator, or 10,000 trays per shift with two operators. The product will produce high integrity seals cycle after cycle that withstand the rigors of sterilization.

The Synergy II meets the needs of all medical tray sealing applications. Seal dwell time is determined by seal die contact time, not elapsed cycle time. Pressure regulation is maintained by air servo that maintains set pressure.
