The WC600B and WC600C are designed to accurately process flexible medical tubings, with no flattening or crushing of tubing ends.
The WC600B and WC600C are designed to accurately process flexible medical tubings, with no flattening or crushing of tubing ends. The B can cut tubings up to 0.375-in. OD into lengths as small as 0.100. The C can cut tubings up to 0.5-in. OD. To achieve good length accuracy and completely square, flat ends on tubings, they use a dual-driven belt-feed mechanism, which provides length accuracy and eliminates crushing. The cutting mechanism is a rotary blade which encircles the tubing while cutting it, ensuring a quality cut end. Typical medical tubings that can be cut include PVC, silicone, heat shrink, vinyl, polyimide, Peek, some multi-lumen and most catheter tubings. The units incorporate five variable feed rates, batching capability and ability to program cut speed and time. They are easily programmed with a four-line keypad display, and have few moving parts.
