Moldmakers are encouraged to get a closer look at the MMJ Series. New from MHI Injection Molding Machinery, Inc., the MMJ hydro-mechanical injection molding machine by Mitsubishi offers a multitude of features.

Available in 610, 720, 950 and 1200 ton models, the MMJ packs a lot of performance into its small footprint (a length 22% less than conventional models). For enhanced plasticizing capability, this new machine includes a UBscrew. And Mitsubishi's new MAC-VII controller adds ease to operation. Other features include a jet purge circuit for reduced set-up and color change times, a dual speed screw motor, two-stage clamping and a true clamp separation circuit. Using the MMJ Series, moldmakers can expect 18% cycle reductions and decreased energy consumption compared to standard hydraulic designs.

A high base model is optional.
