Michigan-Based CRO Selects BioPharm Systems To Implement Oracle's Argus Safety, Argus Interchange, And Empirica Topics In The Cloud

The CRO will enhance its pharmacovigilance and regulatory services with the implementation of new safety and signal management systems.
San Mateo, CA (PRWEB) - A Michigan-based clinical research organization (CRO) that focuses on regulatory submission support for the pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device industries, has selected BioPharm Systems to implement a multi-tenant version of Argus Safety and Interchange, along with Empirica Topics, to strengthen the company’s pharmacovigilance and regulatory operations.
Argus Safety is an internationally recognized, best-of-breed pharmacovigilance system that will help the CRO support the collection, assessment, and reporting of serious adverse events. Interchange, a component of the Argus Safety Suite, is an electronic submission and exchange tool that will allow them to share safety and pharmacovigilance information with its partners in accordance with regulatory guidelines. In addition, the organization will leverage Empirica Topics to track and manage information and activities that are related to potential drug safety and pharmacovigilance signals.
The CRO is taking advantage of BioPharm Systems’ hosting services to enable the rapid deployment of Oracle’s pharmacovigilance and regulatory solutions in the cloud.
BioPharm Systems will also host Axway’s Synchrony Gateway for the CRO and provide application support.
"We are very pleased to have the opportunity to work with them and look forward to establishing a long-term relationship," said Dr. Rodney Lemery, vice president of safety and pharmacovigilance, BioPharm Systems. "With Oracle’s sophisticated safety systems in place, they will be able to streamline their pharmacovigilance operations, which will ultimately benefit their clients."
