MEM-1A Reed Sensors are magnetically actuated on/off sensors that feature no power draw and measure only 2.8mm x 2.0mm sq. (0.110 in. x 0.08 in.). Designed for switching low power devices where size is critical, they are available with magnetic sensitivity ranges from 1.70 to 4.07 millitesla and are tested to withstand up to 15,000 G's shock from any direction.

Manufactured using semiconductor wafer technology, the sensors are supplied and taped and reeled according to IEC 286/part 3, suitable for auto-placement equipment. These SPST reed sensors have a switching voltage of 3 VDC max., with 109 insulation resistance across contact.
