Microphoto, Inc.
Photochemical machining (PCM), is a technique that chemically etches parts that are free of such common metal stamping defects as burrs and external stress.
Microphoto's Project Management Team can start with a concept for a component and take it through engineering, development and full scale production - including forming and fabrication IN LESS TIME AND AT A FRACTION OF THE COST OF ANY OTHER PROCESS!
PCM allows burr-free, stress-free blanking on virtually any ferrous and non-ferrous metal with no chemical or
physical alteration to the material. With precise multiple imaging, we can blank parts on sheets up to 30" wide. The process can work with metals of any temper with thickness ranging from .001 " to heavy gauge. The tolerance range is ± .001 to .010" depending on material type and thickness.
Using our high precision quality control equipment, we can monitor, record and adapt to the highest standards. We are also certified to military standards MIL-STD-45662A, MIL STD-120, MIL-STD-45208A.
The staff and services of Microphoto are designed to react immediately to your requirements. Our dedication, our talents and our experience are at your disposal. Quality products at a fraction of the cost, unique personalized service, speed and precision... only from Microphoto, the leader in photochemical machining for over a quarter of a century.
