The NovaLine F600 laser series for microprocessing offers a wavelength of 157 nm. Its also offers high quantum energy of nearly 8 eV. With repitition rates up to 600 Hz and stabilized power at 10 W, the laser is suited for micromachining tough materials; developing next generation optics, resists and scanners for DUV lithography; micro-optic fabrication and testing; and surface analysis. The laser's good performance in gas lifetime, pulse energy and power is due to the company's metal/ceramic NovaTube and Magnetic Switch Control technologies.
