MicroTechnologies Announces Award Of Medical Device Contract Manufacturing Line

Pompano Beach, FL /PRNewswire-iReach/ - MicroTechnologies recently was awarded a significant program for contract manufacturing of a complete line of medical devices at its Costa Rica facility. The contract is the first major client for the company's new Life Science division and will serve to greatly advance its presence in this sector.

After a year of due diligence, the company decided that Costa Rica was the place for them to outsource and that MicroTechnologies was the best choice. MicroTechnologes will manage then entire operation and supply chain, with the help and technical advisors from the client present as needed. The manufacturing cell of clean-room molding and assembly will be housed in the MicroTechnologies new 14,000 sqf medical device facility expansion and represent 60 new jobs to Costa Rica.
