Model 1200A Tube Expander

The Lakeview Model 1200A Tube Expander is a unique expander. It uses a mandrel for difficult-to-expand tubing, such as vinyl and Teflon. A heated mandrel softens the tubing enough to faciliate ease of expansion without splitting the ends.

• Mandrel tip heat is controllable up to 350o.
  
• Ideal for small I.D. tubing.
  
• Especially suitable to vinyl and Teflon tubing. May be used with polyethelene and polyurethane tubing.
  
• Up to four mandrels allow you to vary tube heating residence time by increments of your assembly cycle, or use a step procedure with different size mandrels to gradually increase tube I.D. size. Preload the mandrels prior to starting assembly and multiply your heating times by 2, 3, or 4 times that unit assembly period.
  
• Mandrels are custom-made to your exact size and configuration requirements.
