The Lakeview Model 875BC Tube Expander uses 90° jaws to allow the insertion of a fitting while the tube is expanded. It has the same patented cam/jaw design as our popular Model 875AC Expander. Teflon-coated jaws allow the tube and fitting to slide easily off the unit as an assembly.
- Especially suited to silicone and latex, or tubing with a durometer under 50.
- Pneumatic operation for efficient clean-room production--it saves employees' fingers!
- Unit is supplied with a non-marring base and foot pedal with regulator and gauge.
- Cam-operated jaws provide a controlled tube expansion. All jaw sets may be used in combination of any cam for maximum expansion flexibility while maintaining fixed tube expansion.
Tube expansion works on the principle of 100% elongation by mechanically stretching the inside diameter of the tube to twice its normal diameter.
