The PC68 format intelligent motion controllers are designed for both servo and stepper motor applications. Servo and stepper control may be mixed for up to eight axes of synchronous motion. The controllers feature 0.01% step accuracy at rates to 1,044,000 pulses/sec. The servo output uses a 16-bit DAC for high resolution and supports +10V or 0-10V. Controller encoder feedback will support rates up to 4 MHz. Upper and lower limit inputs, a home input and an auxiliary output signal are standard on each axis. Eight general purpose I/O signals are also standard. The controller also features a high-speed RS 232 port for standalone applications.
