New features for LabView 6.0 1. Checksum function for secure serial communication. 2. Upon communication failure the commands will be resent as many times as the user desires before the I/O commands generate an error. 3. Ability to easily change the node number (MVP2001 address number) on the command VI's. Systems requirements: LabView 6.0 or higher and NI-VISA installed on your platform. The computer must have an RS232 serial port or RS485 serial port. You can also use our RS232 to RS485 converter with a standard RS232 serial port. The software was tested on 400MHz Pentium II with 128MB RAM.
