National Standards Authority Of Ireland Announces Medical Device Directive Webinars Series
Nashua, NH - The National Standards Authority of Ireland, one of the Nation's Leading Certification/Notified Bodies for Medical Devices, will be holding a series of webinars discussing the upcoming changes to the European Medical Device Directive. These changes, which will take effect in 2010, require companies to start taking action now, otherwise risk having their devices banned from the European Market.
"The webinars will center around the New Medical Device Directive 2007/47/EC, which was approved in September of last year," says Claire McKenna, Medical Device Program Manager with NSAI. "There are a number of areas where there are significant changes including how companies need to acquire clinical data on their products, what types of items are classified as Medical Devices, and what companies need to do to monitor their devices once they go into the market."
The webinars will take place on May 28, June 11 & 18. All webinars start at 2:00 pm.Eastern and cost $49.00 per location. To register visit www.nsaiinc.com/webinar.
