The Deltran brand of NEMA 34 standard planetary gearboxes is now available
The Deltran brand of NEMA 34 standard planetary gearboxes is now available. The new IP86 series joins the company's recently released IP43 and IP57 series of NEMA 17 and 23 sizes.
The IP series of true planetary gearboxes has hardened gears throughout. Single-piece output shaft and carrier construction, in addition to dual pre-loaded sealed ball bearings, allow higher maximum and shock loads. Maximum static torque ranges from 310 to 1770 lb-in, and maximum input speed ranges from 4000 to 6000 RPM for the standard models. Standard backlash for the IP series is 20 arc-minutes, and typical life is over 5000 hours at rated torque (higher with special-order bearings).
All three NEMA sizes are available in ratios of 5, 10, 25, 50 and 100 to one. Additionally, each gearbox is supplied with all the necessary mounting items.
