Network Transparent Switch

Systran Corporationange LX1500 Managed Hub is a full 32x32 crossbar hub, designed to support up to 32 I/O ports connected to digital signals with baud rates up to 1.5 Gb/s. Its patented, modular design maximizes data throughput because it does not engage in any protocol disassembly or any encoding or decoding of input data streams, providing high-speed, low-latency switching between ports, with minimal effect on overall network performance.

The LX1500 can be mounted in a drive bay or mounted in a 19" rack with a Systran-designed enclosure. It can also operate as a stand-alone unit. When fully populated with eight port cards, each LX1500 can dynamically switch up to 32 Fibre Channel interfaces, 16 SCRAMNet interfaces, or 32 other devices with digital signals with baud rates up to 1.5Gb/s. For users requiring more ports, multiple LinkXchange LX1500 units can be cascaded together to form larger switching matrices.
