NEU Introduces Non-Plasticized Urethane Blend For Soft Touch Medical, Consumer, Industrial Products Application

North Haven, CT - NEU (New England Urethane, Inc.), a producer of specialty engineered polymer compounds, has introduced a new, non-plasticized urethane blend for a diverse range of applications including those requiring films. The new product is Neusoft Urethane Blend.

Primary among the applications are medical and consumer and industrial products, particularly where a soft feel and touch is wanted or required. The Neuthane urethane blend can be injection molded, extruded or blow molded.

Offered in Shore A hardnesses of 50, 60 and 70, the new Neuthane Urethane Blend is claimed to have all the beneficial properties of soft rubber and is comparable in price to polymers and thermosets which it is designed to replace. The fact that this urethane blend is not plasticized makes it especially appealing in terms of processing and performance.
