New LED-Curable Catheter Adhesive Cures Tack Free In Less Than A Second

Torrington, CT – DYMAX 211-CTH-SC, a new MD Medical Device Adhesive, is a tack-free, LED-curable adhesive formulated for fast, on-demand cure with the DYMAX BlueWave LED Prime UVA spot-curing lamp. Formulated with DYMAX patented See-Cure technology, 211-CTH-SC is bright blue in the uncured state, enabling automated vision systems and manual operations to confirm adhesive placement prior to cure. As the product cures, its bold, blue color transitions to clear and provides an obvious visual confirmation that the adhesive is fully cured and the bond site is secure.
DYMAX 211-CTH-SC is designed for rapid bonding of metals and plastics and is typically used for Y-connector assembly, balloon bonding, and other catheter applications. Bondable substrates include PC, PU, PS, and stainless steel. The product is ISO 10993 approved and formulated to meet the unique assembly challenges associated with the newest catheter materials.
211-CTH-SC is solvent free with excellent adhesion to a variety of substrates and has ultra-fast cure speeds for consistent, low-stress catheter assembly. The product is compatible with gamma, EtO, and E-Beam sterilization.
