<%=company1%> (PCI; Dallas, TX) has developed a new technology that gives a 7-in.-wide rotary die cutting machine the ability to double island place incoming roll materials. Traditional rotary die cutting equipment processes incoming rolls and may be capable of a single island placement such as with wound dressing.Edited by Ursula Jones
The technology will be used initially to manufacture innovative wound care products and to package products online.
"This new double island placement technology we have incorporated into this machine is innovative and state of the art," said PCI president Roger Liebelt. "We are now able to offer our customers a method to put down two materials independent of each other in the center of an adhesive area or flexible material."
