A new line of heat-stabilized, non-shrink PET tubing is now available
A new line of heat-stabilized, non-shrink PET tubing is now available. Applications include precision sheaths or covers, catheter tubing and liners and insulating sleeving and viewing windows. This tubing is able to produce ultra-thin, high strength and precise diameter clear or colored tubing, +0.001 inch or better. In addition, in the clear version, the tubing can transmit a broad spectrum of light, including UV light, for adhesive curing.

This product differs from standard PET heat shrink tubing in that it will not shrink at the normally recommended 302°F or 150°C temperatures for tubing used in other applications. The tubing is available in diameters ranging from 0.020" to 1" featuring ultra-thin walls from 0.00025" to 0.003" with burst pressures as high as 1,000 psi. Available in standard lengths of 50" and custom lengths from 0.020" to 9', it may be sterilized using Ethylene Oxide, Gamma Radiation or Autoclaving.
