Oscillators for Medical Applications
This page provides an overview of Vectron International’s oscillators ideal for use in medical equipment involving diagnostic imaging, wireless telemetry/patient monitoring, ultrasound, MRI equipment, CT scanning, and PET (Positron Emission Tomography).
The TX-508 temperature compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO) and VX-508 voltage controlled crystal oscillator both feature low g-sensitivity, high shock resistance, tight tolerances, and low phase noise. They’re vibration hardened and are ideal for portable medical equipment.
The VC-708 and VCC6 crystal oscillators feature ultra-low jitter performance, enable/disable functions, differential outputs, and more. They both come in hermetically sealed 5x7 ceramic packages and are ideal for integration into any medical device that requires a repetitive, oscillating electronic signal. The VC-708 covers the 20 to 200 MHz frequency range, and the VCC6 covers the 10 to 350 MHz range.

OX-200- The OX-200 oscillator delivers exceptional stability, in a 25.4mm x 25.4mm footprint. The OX-200 encompasses exceptional stability, low aging and low phase noise in a low profile compact package. The operating frequency range is 10MHz to 160MHz, with frequency stabilities as low as 10ppb over the industrial temperature range of -40 to +85°C.
VT-803- VT-803 is a small form factor high stability TCXO that achieves ±100ppb stability in a 5 mm x 3.2 mm footprint . The operating frequency range is 10MHz to 52MHz over the industrial temperature range of -40 to 85°C, Offering clipped sinewave and CMOS outputs. This TCXO combines high stability, low aging and low phase noise performance that has been traditionally offered in a number of larger footprints.
VX-705- Vectron’s VX-705 oscillator for medical applications is a hermetically sealed 5x7mm LCC VCXO that provides excellent close in phase noise for demanding applications. The operating frequency range is 77.76MHz to 170MHz over the industrial temperature range of -40 to 85°C.
