SIMCO's Aerostat Guardian CR overhead ionizer provides protection for ESD-sensitive electronic components in class 100 cleanrooms. The Guardian CR features inherent balance circuity that ensures that the unit maintains and ion balance of ±5V. It is ideal for semiconductor and disk drive manufacturing or electronics and medical device parts assembly. The Guardian CR is designed for cleanroom use. Ducts enclose the ionizers and each fan is tested for cleanliness to ensure that only clean laminar flow air exits the unit. The unit is also equipped with SIMCO's built-in emitter point cleaners and a lockout switch to prevent tampering with the desired performance level. Task lighting and an outlet to daisy-chain up to 10 units are also standard.
