Oxboro Appoints New Board Members

Oxboro Medical International, Inc. announced that Robert Garin and Ralph Jon Fritz have been appointed to fill two vacancies on the company's five-member board of directors.

Garin has been Vice President of Human Resources at Angeion Corporation since January 1995 and was elected to the board of directors of Angeion GmbH in October 1996 and to the board of directors of Angeion Europe Ltd. in December 1995. Garin's term will expire at the 2000 annual meeting of shareholders.

Fritz has been a sportscaster at WCCO-TV in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area for almost 30 years and has been the Outdoors editor at WCCO-TV for 20 years. Fritz founded Tight Lines, Inc., a fishing tackle company, in 1988 and served as its president until 1994, when it was purchased by Oxboro Outdoors, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of the company. Fritz has been a consultant to Oxboro Outdoors, Inc. since October 1994. Mr. Fritz's term will expire at the 1999 Annual Meeting of Shareholders.
