Known for their stability and long life characteristics, the PAX Family of pre-aligned, integrated modules offer "plug-and-play" functionality, dramatically reducing OEMs' field service costs and down-time by eliminating cumbersome optical adjustments in the field.
These compact, integrated solutions contain the flash lamp, trigger circuit, and power supply in an EMI-suppressant enclosure. Available in two arc orientations, the PAX's pre-aligned arc position allows for "plug and play" field replacement, eliminating alignment time and reducing OEMs' costs and machine down time.
The PAX Family consists of the PAX-6, PAX-10, and the newest PAX-10M. The PAX Family utilizes Excelitas' high stability short arc Xenon flash lamps.
PAX-10M
Precision-Aligned Modular Pulsed Xenon Light Source w/remote flash head – 10 Watt
The PAX-10M by Excelitas is the newest addition to the PAX family of Precision-Aligned Pulsed Xenon Light Sources. It offers a full 10 Watts of power in a compact, modular design with a remote flash head. This allows for easier integration in space-limited applications.
The PAX-10M features a pre-aligned arc position which allows for "plug and play" field replacement, eliminating alignment time and reducing OEMs' costs and machine down time.

Precision-Aligned Pulsed Xenon Light Source – 10 Watt
The PAX-10™ by Excelitas is a Precision-Aligned Pulsed Xenon Light Sources offering a full 10 Watts of power. It's compact design integrates the flash lamp, trigger circuit, and power supply in an EMI-suppressant enclosure.
The PAX-10 features a pre-aligned arc position precisely located relative to a datum feature on the mounting surface of the case. This pre-aligned arc position allows for "plug and play" field replacement, eliminating alignment time and reducing OEMs' costs and machine down time.

PAX-6
Precision-Aligned Pulsed Xenon Light Source – 6 Watt
The PAX-6™ by Excelitas is a 6 Watt Precision-Aligned Pulsed Xenon Light Source which is 50% more compact than existing flash lamp systems. The compact, integrated solution contains the flash lamp, trigger circuit, and power supply in an EMI-suppressant enclosure.
The PAX-6 offers a wide range of flash energy levels and 6 Watts average power in a compact, pre-aligned module. It utilizes Excelitas' high stability short arc Xenon flash lamps. Known for their stability and long life characteristics, these Xenon lamps generate light over a continuous spectrum from ultraviolet to infrared.
