During product development, or in conjunction with litigation support
During product development, or in conjunction with litigation support, a product safety assessment provides valuable information on a product and its ingredients. These assessments contribute product stewardship by ensuring its safety and by advising the manufacturer of possible risks and hazards. Safety assessments of potential toxicity are conducted for either an entire product or a specific ingredient. The Toxicology Group has experience evaluating products such as, plastics, cements, paints, coatings and metals.
To understand a product's potential health hazards, The Toxicology Group, LLC employs our expertise in protocol and methods development to characterize the list of chemical present and the levels of exposure. Each report is signed by a senior toxicologist, describing the safety of a product and discusses possible risks. The Toxicology Group, LLC also offers clients assistance with the development of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and other information required for product labeling.
