Lemo USA features a larger size Redel plastic connector with a higher pin count to meet the needs of applications in the medical industry such as catheters, handpieces, and medical instrumentation.
The 18 mm diameter plastic accommodates cable diameters of 5,7, and 9 mm. It allows up to 19 crimp contacts, and up to 26 solder contacts.
The PSU connectors are gamma radiation sterilizable and the polyetherimide connectors are autoclave and gamma radiation sterilizable.
The connector also features a three-key design for secure alignment. Keying permits plug mating only to receptacles with the same keying configuration.
