These special-function ball screws are cost effective alternatives to ground thread twin-leads and provide lead accuracy of 0.004 in./foot.
Unitized, high performance, rolled ball screws perform dual opposing linear motion using a single-drive system. The one-piece design allows for easier installation and eliminates alignment problems associated with segmented versions. Rolled twin-lead ball screws provide cost-effective systems for use in molding, packaging, food processing, robotic and assembly applications. Made from 4150 alloy steel and protected by a corrosion resistant black oxide finish, these ball screws are heat treated to RC 56 for long life and trouble free service.
