Quatech, Inc./300 card provides four RS-422/485 serial ports via a single Type II PCIMCIA card. It is implemented with four 16550 UARTs providing 16-byte transmit and receive FIFOs, making the card suited for use in multi-tasking environments and for applications requiring high data rates. The four serial ports can be configured to operate in either Full Duplex or Half Duplex mode, and all ports can share a single interrupt. Supported under DOS, Windows 3.x, Windows 95/98 and OS/2, Quatech, Inc./300 is a suited for expanding any portable system.
