Self-Clinching Panel Fastener Assemblies

New PEM Type PFP self-clinching panel fastener assemblies are the latest in a growing line of metal/plastic Hybrid fasteners offered by the company. These patented self-clinching panel fasteners are complete assemblies for permanent installation in metal sheets as thin as .036 in./0.92 mm.

These panel fasteners feature a steel retainer and screw and a black ABS cap. The spring action of the cap's plastic "fingers" allows for the knob to be held in a retracted position. When tightened, the plastic cap completely covers the retainer. A universal slot/Phillips drive is standard and the large plastic cap enables easy operation by hand.

Optional cap colors are available where color identifiers are necessary of where color-matching with a panel or other component is desired. Cap colors include red, yellow, green, orange, blue and violet.

These new self-clinching panel fastener assemblies are available in two screw lengths for each unified or metric thread size ranging from #4-40 through #8-32 and M3 through M4.
