Seven Companies Form MedSource
The new company provides high-precision medical components, subassemblies and completed devices for medical device and equipment OEMs. According to Steven D. Mogensen, director of marketing, MedSource aims to be a single source for the industry so "they can reduce the number of vendors they do business with, reduce their time to market on new products and still maintain quality, on-time delivery and confidentiality."
The company made its debut at the MD&M East tradeshow, and they also hosted a hospitality suite for prospective customers.
The seven companies that comprise MedSource Technologies include: Brimfield Precision (Brimfield, MA); Hayden Precision Industries (Orchard Park, NY); InstruMed OEM (Englewood, CO); Kelco Industries (Minneapolis); MicroSpring Company (Norwell, MA); Portlyn Corp. (Moultonborough, NH); and Texcel (East Longmeadow, MA and Minneapolis).
