Additional features are available for the PRO/PM Series of shock absorbers, which increase reliability and energy capacities, making the products easier to use for industrial applications. The features include: increased energy and shock force capabilities that enable the shock absorber to accommodate heavier loads, faster rates and greater drive forces; solid cylinder and shock tube construction to improve durability, reliability and performance; an integrated positive stop capability, which allows customers to use them as a positive reference stop; softer hydraulic cushions enabling the use of the entire stroke of the shock absorber for better deceleration and lower transmitted loads; an integrated BAC (Blind End of Cylinder) seal, which lets the shock be used in pressurized environments.
The units also feature wrench flats, heavy-duty piston buttons and a shorter over all length.
