The company offers the first small form factor, low power, single board computer with high resolution TV output suitable for in-dash and other mobile applications.

Called the PCM-5822, the 3.5 inch board has the same dimensions as an internal hard disk but includes an MMX-class Cyrix GXM-200 processor, up to 64MB or RAM, a CompactFlash socket, on-board Ethernet, a parallel port, and infrared port, two serial ports, 2 USB connectors, support for two enhanced IDE devices and two floppies, and a PC/104 connector for adding more.

The two-chip Cyrix set requires less real estate than the equivalent four or five Intel chips. Partly because they mount through low profile ball grid arrays and run off 2.2 volts, they also require less than half the power (8 watts for a system with 64MC compared to around 20 watts). Lower power usage means that the board can run without a fan, adding to both the compactness and long-term reliability.

The system converts 640x480 or 800x600 pixel Windows inputs to simultaneous Composite and S-Video outputs in PAL or NTSC TV formats.
