Sparton Medical Solutions Opens New Facility

<%=company1%> (SMS; DeLeon Springs, FL), a business group of Sparton Corp., has opened an office in Research Triangle Park, NC. The facility location was chosen to enhance SMS' design and contract manufacturing services to the medical design industry.

Along with the new facility, Sparton Medical Solutions has formed an alliance with a local ergonomic industrial design company, Axiom, to enable a comprehensive product solution (see related story).

Sparton Medical Solutions is a provider of contract design and manufacturing services to the therapeutic, surgical, laboratory, and diagnostic medical markets. Personnel consist of mechanical, electrical, regulatory, and software engineers experienced in the design, development, and manufacturing of electromechanical medical devices that meet regulatory and agency requirements. Products range from Class I to Class III. The company is able to develop and program from concept to production including agency approval assistance and complete support throughout the product's entire life cycle. The company is ISO 9001 certified and creates and maintains documentation for design, software development, and product configuration control.
