Texas Instrumentsof supervisory circuits enables designers to monitor core voltages as low as 1.2 V that are seen in DSP, microcontroller and microprocessor ICs. The processor supervisors offer an integrated watchdog and manual reset function in addition to the ability to monitor supply voltages as low as 1.08 V. The devices make it possible to add additional options for hand-held or portable products, such as wireless communication devices, medical and electronics test equipment, subnotebook computers, personal digital assistants and automotive systems.
