In 1979, engineers for the ARO Corporation developed a unique internal pressure-sensing device to measure seal strength of packages. The device became so widely used and accepted by the pharmaceutical, food, and medical industries that the burst test became known as the "ARO TEST." Over the next decade, ARO introduced a number of reliable package testing devices, and in 1989, unveiled the world's first fully automated burst tester.

In 1993, significant strength and resources were added to the TEST-A-PACK product line when Carleton purchased the ARO Corporation. Since then, we have strengthened the product range by substantially improving existing products and adding new products to the line. Today, TEST-A-PACK manufactures a full line of standard and custom burst, integrity, and leak testers.

Carleton's commitment to innovation and quality insures that TEST-A-PACK will remain at the forefront of package testing technology and solutions. Since 1979 . . . innovation, products, and services in package test technology.
