The company offers an extension of its EZ-OP line of thermal print mechanisms with the very compact, 5-volt model. The innovative EZ-OP concept utilizes the industry's first lever activated design for easy, fast and jam free paper loading.

The 5-volt LTPH245 EZ-OP mechanism allows paper installation in three very simple steps- the user depresses a lever to pop out the platen assembly, lays the paper in place, and snaps the assembly back in. The mechanism's foolproof loading capability and low-voltage requirements make it suited for mobile computing, handheld terminals, kiosks and point-of-sale applications where ease of paper loading is desired.

The unit delivers print speeds of up to 62.5 mm/sec with a paper width of two inches. Measuring 76.8mm x 38mm x 16mm (WxDxH), the mechanism offers high print resolution of 8 dots per mm for clear printing of both characters and graphics. Other features include quiet operation and a typical service life of 100 million pulses or more.
