The machine allows for the sealing dwell time, temperature, and pressure to be fully validated. Features include quick-change tooling, a servo motor drive, and touch screen controls for rapid changeover and flexible operation. Its design allows for web widths from 8 to 21 in. that can be changed online, repeats up to 20 in., and draw depths down to 5 in. It is suitable for high-volume packaging at web speeds of up to 600 in./min (30 cycles per minute). With the web tension control and sealing mechanism, sterile seal quality will be improved, material waste will be reduced, and production throughput will be increased. The machine is fully compliant with GMP and CE requirements.
