Titan sells E-beam system to Isotron for medical product sterilization

Isotron PLC has purchased an E-beam system for healthcare products and medical sterilization from The Titan Corp. (San Diego). Isotron provides sterilization services to manufacturers of sterile healthcare products and related industries and is based in Swindon, Wiltshire, UK.

Titan Scan Technologies Corp., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Titan, will install the new sterilization system at Isotron's Daventry facility near London.

Titan Scan Technologies also operates Titan's three medical sterilization facilities located in San Diego, CA; Denver, CO; and Lima, OH.

More than 50 percent of Isotron's revenue is derived from the sterilization of healthcare products. The food packaging, cosmetics, pharmaceutical industries, and others also use Isotron's microbe control services.
