Achieving clean, precise cuts in tubing is essential for reliable analytical and laboratory performance. Our precision tubing cutters are engineered to deliver consistent, high-quality results across both fused silica and polymer tubing types.

For fused silica tubing, the Shortix™ Cutter (FS-315) provides clean, trouble-free cuts that outperform traditional methods. Unlike standard cutters that scratch and snap tubing—often causing jagged edges—the FS-315 rotates a diamond blade around the entire circumference, ensuring a perfectly clean cut every time, regardless of operator experience. A built-in magnifying glass allows easy inspection of the tubing ends, while the optional FS-315-02 Maintenance Kit provides replacement cutting wheels for extended tool life. This cutter is designed for tubing with ODs of 350–780 µm and IDs of 100–350 µm.

For polymer tubing, precision is equally important. The A-327 and A-329 cutters are designed specifically for 1/16” to 5/16” OD tubing, producing flat, 90° burr-free cuts. Each tool includes five replacement blades and guide holes for precise, repeatable operation.

When working with capillary polymer tubing, the A-350 Cutter ensures perpendicular cuts without collapsing delicate walls. It includes tubing sleeves for 360 µm OD polymer tubing, with alternatives available for 1/32” OD.

Each cutter is optimized for its specific material—fused silica or polymer—to ensure the highest level of performance, reliability, and ease of use in precision fluidic and analytical systems.
