Ultra-Flow Medical-Grade Couplings

The company offers new MPU Medical Plastic Ultra-flow Couplings with ¾ in. hose barbs. MPU couplings were designed to facilitate the transfer of biomedia from large capacity (500+ liter) containers and bags used in bioprocessing applications such as: media packaging, and biopharmaceutical manufacturing, as well as laboratory and other applications requiring easy, secure connection of ¾ in. tubing.

The couplings' shrouded seal prevents fluid path contamination, and their leak-free, twist-to-lock connection guards against accidental disconnects and loss of vital biomaterials.

These low profile couplings feature an audible click to verify a secure connection; a convenient thumb latch for easy disconnects, and sharp barb ends to minimize fluid turbulence. MPU sterilizable couplings are a cost-effective and easy-to-use alternative to the camlock couplings and large fittings typically used to transfer biomedia from large containers or other ¾ in. tubing applications.

The durable couplings, made of Class VI polysulfone material with a silicone seal, will withstand autoclave, EtO, Gamma, or E-Beam sterilization methods.
