UV Curing Light Sources
Hamamatsu offers UV-LEDs for curing adhesives in stents, catheters, needles, hearing aids, and other therapeutic medical devices. Their high output power makes them especially ideal for UV curing, and their low power consumption makes them an energy saving and environmentally friendly light source.
These UV curing light sources emit light at either 365 nm or 385 nm. Their lifespans can fall anywhere between 10,000 to 20,000 hours of operation. Their long lifetime significantly reduces the potential down time experienced with the need to shut production lines to replace lamps once they die out.
