UV Source Inc.een Spot features a solid state power supply with a 2 year warranty, a "pop off lid" for access to lamp reflector assembly, vertical bulb orientation that gives high UV output and long life, an electric or pneumatic shutter, a digital shutter timer with foot switch, a dual cooling fan system, a manual-robotic shutter interface switch, and a standard 5 mm x 1 m liquid-filled light guide.
Applications for the medical industry include any spot curing application where UV Class VI adhesive is required such as bonding plastics, stainless steel, optics, endoscopes, manufacturing and repair, rubber, and catheters.
