VidaMed Appoints CEO and President

VidaMed Inc. announced that David J. Illingworth has been appointed chairman, president and chief executive officer.

Illingworth, who currently serves as president of Nellcor's Alternate Care Business, also serves as a director of Somnus Medical Technologies, Inc.

VidaMed designs, develops, manufactures and markets systems for the treatment of urological conditions.
