<%=company1%> announced today that it has contracted with Sterile Technologies, Inc. of Queensbury, NY, USA for the design, installation and validation of a 100% Ethylene Oxide sterilization system at its manufacturing facilities in Dong Guan, Guangdong, People's Republic of China.

The agreement is a result of Vincent Medical's expansion into sterile medical device manufacturing. The system will give Vincent Medical sufficient capacity to produce approximately 2,500 "pallet" loads of sterile devices each year. Ethylene Oxide is the most widely used method for sterilization of medical devices. But due to the large equipment investment involved and the degree of sophistication required to run the system, many medical device manufacturers choose to sub-contract this critical step in the manufacturing process of a medical device to outside service providers.

"The installation of this system is a major milestone for us" stated David Groll, Managing Director of Vincent Medical. "It gives us the capability to control the entire manufacturing process of any sterile device that we make with in-house sterilization. We did not view sub-contracting to be a viable option for our customers" he continued. "We have developed a unique set of capabilities to provide our customers with the ability to make their sterile devices to international standards with a cost structure that can be achieved by manufacturing in China".

"We look forward to working with Vincent Medical on this major project for both of our companies" said Roman M. Stienss, President of Sterile Technologies, Inc. "We appreciate the confidence and opportunity given to our company, as this project allows us to further expand into international markets. We will assure that Vincent Medical has a world-class sterilization facility in China."
